OLIVIA GESUALDI
AEA
We all have a story to share. Here's mine:
Born and raised in Rhode Island, I started voice, dance, and piano lessons when I was just six years old. I began performing in community theatre at the age of nine, and quickly became addicted to being on the stage! At age 15, I traveled to Italy to study opera with Walnut Hill's School of the Arts. This experience heightened my love and appreciation for classical music, all while I was playing musical theatre leading ladies in school and throughout my community.
I attended Carnegie Mellon University, where I earned my BFA in Vocal Performance. A fun fact about me: I competed in the first season of CMU's College "Survivor" game, and won! You can catch the entire series on YouTube. I graduated with Honors and was able to take all of the invaluable lessons I learned there (especially during 2020) with me to the Big Apple!
Now living in Brooklyn, NY, I am a proud AEA Member who is actively auditioning and living my dreams. I’m currently enrolled in the Juilliard Extension Program, where I am studying acting. I’m also working on creating a solo cabaret show under the guidance of Gretchen Cryer. In my free time, I love exploring the city with my best friends, and am currently the Front of House Manager at off-Broadway's The Irish Repertory Theatre.
